ADA Accessibility at Friendship Bridge – Engineering and Land Surveying by Ament Professional Services.
Ament Professional Services is selected for improvements at Friendship Bridge near Central High School.
Ament joins the project team with H&B Builders to provide engineering and survey support of ADA accessible trail connections from Central High School to the pedestrian bridge that will connect Brophy College Prep (BCP) and Central High School. Although the bridge currently provides passage across the Central Arizona Project canal, the trail connections between the two schools are incomplete. Ament is designing the ADA ramp and route from Friendship Bridge that leads to the CHS football field which will become the home field for the BCP Broncos in upcoming seasons.
The improvements will incorporate solar powered trail lighting to eliminate expense of extending electrical utility services.
